PLNU Freshman Retreat

I just got back a few hours ago from Point Loma's Freshman Retreat. It was held in Ramona, California (about 1 1/2 hours northeast of San Diego) at a Young Life Campground. It was a lot of fun and good to meet some more of my fellow classmates here at school. I met a lot of new people and got to know some people a little better as well. One particular highlight of the weekend for me was sleeping "under the stars." When you signed up you had the option of sleeping in a cabin or sleeping outside. It was a very cool thing, even though it was surprisingly a bit cold! Looking up and falling asleep to the sight of a sky full of stars was a really neat experience. I was listening to my iPod as I was trying to go to sleep and had set it to the "shuffle" setting and one of the songs that I listened to seemed to represent my thoughts very well. I finish blogging today by sharing the lyrics to one of my favorite worship songs right now by Chris Tomlin called "Indescribable"
