Yesterday, was another snow day. All the snow dances must have paid off, because there was no school! It was a pretty boring day. However, it was much better than being in school!
We ended up getting about 10 inches of snow and it is to be pretty cold for the next two weeks (according to the TV meteorologists--who haven't had such a great track record so far this winter) But, "spring" is around the corner and will be here shortly!
I'm off to the MASC Spring Conference next week on Cape Cod in Hyannis. We leave Wednesday morning and return on Friday afternoon. It should be a good time. MASC (Massachusetts Association of Student Councils) holds various events throughout the year and their Spring Conference is their main event, where delegations from student councils from around Massachusetts come together for workshops, seminars, training, speakers and to elect officers for the upcoming school year. We don't have any candidates up for election :-( But I'm excited about the group we have going this year. Hopefully it won't be too cold next week!
Also busy right now with scholarship stuff. I made several trips to the Guidance Office at school today just getting applications, picking up forms, etc. It's a lot of work but hopefully it will pay off!
Setting boundaries in relationships rarely fails at the first conversation.
It fails on the eleventh day, when the thing you asked for quietly stops
