Sushi & Stevie

Last night, I had a great opportunity to enjoy myself with some folks connected with Point Loma. We rented a few kayaks from the Rec Room on campus and made our way to Talbot Street just a few blocks from campus where we unloaded the kayaks and boarded them into the harbor. We rowed over to Humphrey's where we pulled along the shore to see the stage set for the concert...with Stevie Wonder!

Someone in our group had taken orders for sushi so as soon as we settled in our spot, we ate, enjoyed the view and got ready for the free concert to begin. Three hours later, we were back on campus, a little wet but in awe of the evening that we had. Complete with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," "Higher Ground," "Sir Duke" and the ever so popular closing number, "Superstition," it was a memorable evening. Although we couldn't see Stevie the whole time, we had a view of the stage and had plenty of volume of him tickling the ivories and singing the evening away. I would post photos if I had taken some notable ones, but for now, enjoy the profile shot of Stevie, courtesy of Google Images.
